Their work on our new poly tunnel will enable the allotment group to grow vegetables all year round
On Thursday 25th March staff from Barclays Community Account Managers Division in the Chesterton Road Branch turned out to help dig and prepare the ground at our allotment ready for our poly tunnel. They returned again on Thursday 20th May and helped to erect the tunnel itself on the site. The tunnel will enable our allotment group to grow vegetables all year round in future.
Pictured below making final adjustments to the poly tunnel along with volunteers from Barclays is allotment volunteer John Richards on the far right and Tom Licence next to him. Tom is a local builder and kindly helped to put the skin in place.

Our Chairman, Keith Evans and his family had a stall outside his house in the village raising money for Cam-mind. £1,363.95 was raised from bric-a-brac, books, tombola and selling teas/coffees. Our thanks go to all of them for all their hard work
