A chance meeting...

In early 2004 Mark was traveling home from working in London, when he saw Doug whose bike had broken down with a punctured tyre. While giving Doug a lift home Mark discovered that he was in a band called “Retroactive”. That June “Retroactive” performed at a gig for Mark and his mates, where Mark, Angie and Doug (aka M.A.D.) first talked about the possibility of a Charity Music Festival. In Sept 2004 just 3 months later, in a field in Fordham, provided by Mr Roger Turner, a host of bands performed 12 hours of varied music for next to nothing except a few expenses.

Without the kind support and donations from friends and local businesses this Charity Music Event would not be able to continue.

Now, 7 years on and still going strong, Fordham Music Festical aims to raise as much money as possible, and provide an excellent festival with top live music, a brilliant atmosphere and an unforgettable experience to remember.

Further information

Details of the main stage bands and headlining acts have recently been announced on the festival website. For full details please see www.fordhammusicfest.org.
