Press Release

Official launch of Cam-mind allotment group

Monday 28 September 2009—Cambridge

When so much emphasis in put on enjoying a healthy diet isn’t it refreshing to see Cam-mind launching a new project — an allotment group growing fresh food and enjoying exercise and fresh air at the same time. The group has grown in numbers since it began and whether you are a beginner or an expert volunteers and service users are assured of a warm welcome.

Info. for pic. opportunities

I am writing to invite you to the official launch of the Cam-mind Allotment on Friday 28th September at 11am. We are inviting representatives from the Evelyn Trust, Cambridge Soroptimists and Caroline Powell from the Gog Magog Golf Club who have all been very generous in helping us to get this project underway to come to the launch and to each plant a bush for us to mark the occasion.

A good photo opportunity would be around 11.15 when everyone will be gathered together. The allotment is at the Nuffield Road Allotment Society and I hope very much that you will be able to join us.

FOR FURTHER INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT ALISON AT THE CAM-MIND OFFICE ON 01223 311320.
