| KIM MASSON, WHO WORKS ON THE CAMBRIDGE CAMEO PROJECT, INTENDS TO RUN THE LONDON TO BRIGHTON (56 MILES) OFF ROAD RUN IN THE COLOURS OF CAM-MIND ON 5TH OCTOBER 2008.
This is a tough race as it needs to be completed within 12 hours and you need to be able to navigate.
"I have chosen to run for a mental health charity because I have worked in mental health for
over 16 years. I currently work for Cameo running a service for young people with psychosis
in the locality. I took up running to help me stop smoking at the age of 35 (getting fit did not mix with smoking)
and I continue to enjoy my running. I find it helps me relax and keep on top of my stress.
It is good for personal space and it gives me time to reflect. I also enjoy the company of others,
catching up for a chat. Thank you for your support for this caring charity, which helps others to help themselves." |
